Problems - how to solve? BMP's way

If you ask Bangalore metropolitan palike (BMP) to solve a problem, you know what they do? They just eradicate the problem. Its easy.

1. How to solve the late night burglaries, rapes, assaults in bangalore?
BMP: Simple, ask people to go home early and stay there.
Result: All shops, Restaurants, Bars, coffee shops, literally everything goes offline at 11.30 pm in bangalore. Already its a lazy town, which wakes up very late as compared to mumbai or chennai.

2. How to solve harassment against women in late nights?
BMP: Do not allow them to work in the night.
Result: Women are not allowed to wok in Night. As a result, chances are narrow for the BPO's to hire women. One good thing is newspapers wont come up with headlines saying "Condoms found in one of the leading BPO in town". I dont know if they will still come with such headlines and give a different story for it.

Yet another one from our fellow citizen's thought process..

3. How to bring in discipline into students who are influenced by violence and vulgarity on TV and other media?
A mumbai based school: Issue a notice, asking girls and boys studying there not to touch or hug members of the opposite sex. (http://www.ibnlive.com/news/girls-boys-keep-distance-schools/42888-3.html)

I am writing this post, on effect of one of the news channel, which was discussing about the bangalore 11.30 deadline. These guys went to various pubs in the city and asked opinion from the pubbers there. There was a hot debate on whether we should allow it to function till 1 am or close it 11.30 itself. These guys were just talking about the pub business. Ediots they are. Let the pubs close down at 11.30, if the real issue is caused by drunkards (and driving thereafter) and let the restaurants, coffee shops stay. Just imagine a guy like me who wants to have some food, after a full blown working day and leave at 12 midnight. I wont even get a tea in this place. The news channel was analysing the situation as if only the drunkards get affected coz of the 11:30 closure.

And now bangalore govenment is thinking of banning the Race course. Not that I am into this thing, but why would these guys think like these. They have already banned dance bars, dance floors etc,. At the end of the day what would one do, if they want to do some leisure in bangalore. The only thing which is left is, these shopping malls and multiplexes.

These guys have forgot the goal of very existence of life. To live happily. Agreed, there needs to be certain rules followed for the welfare of all. But not at this cost !!

Future looks bright though!!!

4. How to solve trafic congestion?
Ban cars, bikes, bus and every form of transport, the BMP way.

B'lore say cheeZe...

Finally I have made up my mind, to buy a Digi-cam this week. Now I am a proud owner of a OLYMPUS 6 MEGA PIXEL DIGITAL CAM, though I dont feel much excited about it. I just took 1-2 pics and had put it up inside the cupboard. When some thing comes into my life a little late, probably I just think as just as a utility rather than being all excited about it. I dont know whether its natural for any homo sapien though. Couple of years back if I had gotten the same camera, I think the election commission would have asked for my help for their voter-id pics, for the number of pics I would have taken the entire bangalore population. Anyways a typical middle class mind of mine, is never allowing me to buy things without enuf thinking. And by the time I make up my mind, I lose all the excitement.

Added to that I bought this "Pyaar ke side effects" VCD. This movie is too hilarious. And I am really waiting for this "Bas ek pal" movie to arrive at the stores. Cant wait to see that video of "Tere Bin".

The date I had this saturday.

I cannot put names here. So lets keep it as person X. This person X is new to b'lore. Just joined a MNC in here and have come from hyderabad. Naturally I was the one helping around to settle down in here. You people know me. I am so helpful especially to people I like. :-) I helped in getting the luggages to our house and gave directions to the new service apartment, the company gave for a month.

After settling down, I thought I should help in getting around in this city. So we went around a couple of places in the morning and then had a very heavy lunch in a restaurant called ayyanar. This place is known for its Non-vegetaraian dishes. We had a nice biriyani and some yummy chicken. We went on a long ride in my bike, through some of the deserted roads of b'lore before reaching MG road.

We went around Garuda mall, checked out for any movies in INOX. Bloody, I cant find any movies available for that time. Donno how these tickets get sold in b'lore especially in weekends. We finally made our mind for a coffee at CCD. We were talking about career, movies, beggars-in-b'lore and some nice stuff. We were just walking back and forth of MG and Brigade road doing nothing basically. I felt I am just messing around by taking here and there without having any plans. I thought lets sit for a while somewhere and relax. Movie is the best thing to do. So we went to this tamizh movie. The movie is ulti crap. I can actually listen to HIMESH-RESHAMAIYA'S-OOOOOO-SOUND rather than watching this movie all three hours. Finally we had our dinner before we went to the service appartment.

Overall I think Person X and I go well together except for the fact that this person X is a guy. :-)
